The facilities at Masters
Energy City once more recorded high commendation and endorsement
when it paid host to top DPR officials recently in Port Harcourt.
The team of high ranking DPR officials were received in Masters

the excellent facilities on ground. He stated “we are
very humbled at your visit and want to thank you for the mutual
relationship that has always existed between us and DPR. |
You can see for yourself that we have massive
investment here that could compare with any of its type all
over the world. Not only have we invested so much in facility,
as a responsible corporate citizen, we also always play by
the rules to ensure that we deliver wholesome products to
our people.”
He also informed the visitors that Masters Energy is passionate

in Port Harcourt recently.

According to him, “since
the commissioning of Masters Energy City in 2009, the landscape
of petroleum products distribution, availability and affordability
have turned around 360 degrees to the extent that pump price
of PMS in South-South, South-East and North-East is the same
as obtains in Lagos and any other place.”
The visitors were conducted round the facilities during which
they inspected the Laboratory, the two finger jetties, loading
bay and safety standards of the company. Speaking after the
inspection, the Team Leader, Product, Depot & Jetty (PDJ),
Port Harcourt Zone, Mr. H. D. Ibiyemi thanked Masters Energy
for receiving the team and congratulated the company for what
it has on ground. He told the management of the company that
the purpose of the visit was for the Operations Controller,
DPR, Port Harcourt Zone, Mrs. O. C. Sibeudu to familiarise
herself with the region and ascertain how they are faring.
He said, “I am not a new comer to Masters Energy City.
What we have inspected today is larger that what they have
in most depots. Everyone knew that Masters Energy has done
so much in assisting in fuel distribution in the country and
you have a very busy jetty.” |
Appraising
the inspection, the Operations Controller, DPR, Port Harcourt
Zone, Mrs. O. C. Sibeudu expressed satisfaction with what
she saw. She commended the size and the busy schedule in
both the loading bay and jetties. According to her “just
as Mr. Ibiyemi said, my visit is familiarisation but I am
highly impressed with the activity here. DPR does not regulate
people and business into extinction but rather is there
to regulate people to do business properly and legitimately.”
She commended the company for doing the right things that
are required of them in the conduct of their business unlike
most operators. She said further “it gives me joy
to know that this type of facility exists here. This surely
means that there is hope of better tomorrow for this sector.
I want to assure you that our doors are open to compliant
companies like yours and we are ready to work together with
you.”
