Masters Energy’s Depot at Masters Energy City, Port Harcourt was recently honoured with the “Best Depot of the Year” award in Lagos. The award ceremony organised by Nigeria News Direct was in recognition of the good state, functionality, operations and state of the art facilities available at the depot.

Speaking at the event, the Editor-in-Chief of Nigerian NewsDirect, Mr. Samuel Ibiyemi said the companies and individuals honoured were identified as promoting the good image of Nigeria as a nation full of hard working people and organisations. He said, “The winners were selected by a team of experienced and highly reputable professionals having objectively considered set parameters in line with global standards and best practices.”

Commenting on the award, the vice-chairman/managing director, Masters Energy, Mr. Vincent Ajala, expressed delight at the award. He said that “the award won by our depot is a true reflection of the facilities on ground and type of services obtainable at the depot. We always work efficiently and effectively to deliver quality services to our customers.”

It will be recalled that since the commissioning of Masters Energy City in Port Harcourt, in 2009, the company has bridged petroleum products supply to the South-East, South-South and North-East, making petrol easily available and affordable in zones that were previously known for perennial fuel scarcity.
