It
was a star performance for Masters Energy Oil & Gas
Ltd at the just concluded Oil Trading & Logistics Conference,
held in Lagos, Nigeria from 13th – 14th October 2009.
The conference which has become the biggest downstream conference
in Nigeria attracted attendees from both within and outside
Nigeria.
Masters Energy Oil &
Gas, as one of the sponsors of the conference was represented
at the conference. Leading a team of other participants
from the company, the Vice Chairman/CEO, Mr. Vincent Ajala,
commended the organisers of OTL Conference for their efforts
and attempts at keeping the downstream sector abreast of
contemporary happenings in the sector.
Mr. Ajala said that “OTL
is a proudly Nigerian project and Masters Energy as a proudly
Nigeria company is happy to be associated with the conference.”
According to him, it is only through fora like this where
there is cross fertilisation of ideas can the nation move
forward.
Aside delegate representation
at the Conference, Masters Energy also had an exhibition
pavilion. Of all the exhibitors at the conference, Masters
Energy pavilion was the busiest as it continued to receive
streams of visitors at the 2 day conference.

Head, Corporate Communications, Masters Energy Oil &
Gas Ltd, Mr. Emma. Iheanacho described the conference as
a big success for the company informing that “when
we took the decision to partner with organisers of OTL ’09,
we set a goal for ourself; a goal of what we want to achieve
at the conference. Normally we are an organisation that
is full of confidence and creativity in our actions. That
was why we were able to deliver the type of exhibition pavilion
that was both interactive and lively all through the 2 days
conference. We maximized our visibility and of course got
a tacit endorsement by the sector. So we are happy we participated.”
The high point of the success of the
conference for Masters Energy was the presentation of
Downstream Development Partner Award to the company. Mr.
Ajala while receiving the award thanked the organisers
of the conference for the award and assured them that
as long as they remain focused on the organisation of
this prestigious conference, Masters Energy will always
identify with them.
The Oil Trading & Logistics
Conference has become the most prestigious annual downstream
event in Nigeria. It is organised by Admiralty Resource
Services and always draw attendance from both within and
outside Nigeria.
