Lady (Barr.) Chinyere Usen is a product of the prestigious University of Lagos, Imo State University, Owerri and Abia State University, Uturu, where she bagged her LLM, LLB Degrees in Law and Masters Degree in Public Administration respectively.  She proceeded to the Nigerian Law School and obtained her BL.  Also she attended the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede where she obtained a Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Administration.

She is a Chartered Secretary and a Fellow (FCIS) of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN). A Chartered Arbitrator and a Supply Chain and Logistics Management Specialist.  Lady Usen also attended the National Broadcast Academy where she obtained Diploma certificates in both Public Speaking and Broadcasting. She is an Alumnus of the prestigious Lagos Business School.

Lady Usen has had over 30 years of Working Experience spanning from Banking to Legal Practice and had worked variously as an Administrative Secretary with the then Cooperative and Commerce Bank Nigeria Limited, Out Consortium Nigeria Limited – a Fund Management Consultants for the defunct Petroleum Trust Fund and ‘The Firm Chambers’ as a Legal Practitioner. She had worked as Company Secretaries of both National and Multinational Companies in Nigeria.

Lady Usen has attended both National and International Training Prorammes on Micro-finance Banking and happened to be one of the first Nigerians to attend an Exposure/Training Programs in Grameen Bank, Bangladesh on Microfinance Banking Operations.  She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and is a certified Microfinance Banker.

She is currently working with Masters Energy Group and had occupied the position of the Company Secretary and Legal Adviser/Head of Admin in Olive Microfinance Bank Limited – a subsidiary of the group before she was transferred to Alsa Petrochemical Industries Limited as the Company Secretary and Head of the Legal Department in 2013.  In 2015, she was made the pioneer Managing Director of Multi Dimensions Chemicals and Allied Products Limited in the Group.  She later became the Managing Director of Masters Energy Commodities Trading Limited.  This position she held until she was appointed the Group Company Secretary and Executive Director, Legal of the Group.
