Masters Energy Oil & Gas Limited has been listed among the selected petroleum marketing companies that will offtake Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) from the Dangote Refinery for nationwide distribution.
This development follows the refinery’s execution of bulk PMS offtake arrangements with key downstream operators to collectively distribute between 60 million and 65 million litres of petrol daily across Nigeria. The initiative is expected to significantly enhance product availability, stabilise supply, and support Nigeria’s drive towards fuel self-sufficiency.
By being included in this offtake framework alongside other major industry players, Masters Energy is strategically positioned to receive PMS directly from the Dangote Refinery for distribution through its growing retail and commercial network across the country.
For our staff and stakeholders, it is important to note that this arrangement reflects a globally recognised operational model within the downstream petroleum value chain — where refineries concentrate on the efficient and profitable refining of crude oil, while licensed marketing companies execute bulk purchase (offtake) agreements for refined products at the refinery gate and manage nationwide distribution.
Masters Energy’s participation in this framework reinforces our role in ensuring consistent product availability to our customers and strengthens our contribution to a more reliable and locally supported energy supply system.
Masters Energy is one of the major players in Nigeria’s energy sector, with a growing footprint across Sub-Saharan Africa.
